Laura Cole
Laura is a Solution-Focused Executive Coach working with leaders who want to identify and live into their own, authentic leadership style. In a leadership role it shouldn't feel like you are wearing someone else's suit that doesn't quite fit right - but often that's the case if we haven't had the time to think intentionally about our own style and are left to simply adopt someone else's.
Laura uses Solution-Focused methodology to invite her clients to design their own unique, practical approach to leadership, including a plan to guide and measure progress. Prior to Your Latitude, Laura worked in corporate and felt the pressures and stresses of holding leadership roles without an intentional mindset of what leadership was, or could be. Near the end of her corporate career she met a mentor who changed everything and supported her in living into an authentic role and identify. Laura founded Your Latitude to help other professionals do the same.
Experience
Laura is the founder of Your Latitude, a coaching and professional development company offering 1:1 and group coaching and training. She is fluent in multiple facilitation techniques and methods to support and encourage engagement of 1:1 or groups in a virtual setting, including a unique platform involving Equine Assisted Learning (horses) - yes, in a virtual setting! She is also a mediator, with experience conducting group mediation in a virtual setting. Laura is a Business Professor at a leading business college in Ontario, Canada and is a former certified Dale Carnegie facilitator.
